Monday April 23, 2018 Pullman, WA

1. Did you get our little birthday package? The one from home? The sweatshirt one should get there on Tuesday.

1. Yes I did! Thank you so much! I will make that cake and be happy! Thanks!

2. Do you know if you're being transferred yet, or do you find out later in the week?
2. Yes

3. What was the funniest thing about your week?
3. We went on exchanges and on the day April 20th my companion and another elder talked to someone at the door and the person there was hot boxing in their apartment and they stood there and talked with them for a while and they totally got a little bit high on pot. Pretty funny.

4. Is your weather warming up at all?
4. Yes finally

5. Happy birthday this week! How does it feel different being a 20 year old?
5. It feels great! I feel so wise and old and like really really different. Actually, no I feel the same as I did when I was 18.

Well this week was great! We found a ton of new people in the zone and so that was exciting! We are seeing so many miracles in the zone. Work has really been picking up lately. Too bad I'm leaving!

Yeah I'm getting transferred back up to the old Spokane. Spokane 6th ward. I guess I'm needed up there because I won't be a zone leader anymore they want me to be a district leader again. But it should be good. That's where the Lord needs me so that's where I will go. I don't know how long I'll stay there but here we go! That's pretty much it for this week not too much else exciting. Well hope you have a good week to! Love ya!

Monday April 16, 2018 Pullman, WA

1. We're curious - how much is a gallon of gas in Pullman, WA?
1. I think like around $2.89-2.99

2. Have you eaten out at any restaurants there in Pullman?
2. Umm there's not too much here in Pullman besides weird Asian places, but there is a good Thai place that a lady in our ward takes us to every once in a while. It's good cuz they know how to actually make things spicy.

3. How are your investigators coming along?
3. Great! It was actually a really good week.

4. Any birthday requests?
4. You know I'm not sure. The only things I can think of are, I really like 10tree the brand. If you want you can look them up. But I like their tee shirts and hoodies. But they’re kinda expensive so I don't know. Council with me if you’re thinking about it.

So this week was a blast. We went on back to back exchanges with the district leaders in our zone and it was a ton of fun. But the biggest miracle was that at church this week we had like 10 non members come to church! And it was the week where we got a new bishop and a ton of stuff changed. It was crazy! Almost overwhelming but it was so cool. I hope we have a good turn out next week too.

But our "on dates" are doing good. They all have a lot to overcome but they are on the way to a wonderful life if they continue to change and work at it. We all of a sudden are teaching a lot of Spanish speaking people which is kinda funny because it's Pullman Washington. But it's who is prepared for us!

Well I love you and hope you have a good week.

Monday April 9, 2018 Pullman, WA

1. Do you have any sprouts growing in your little pots yet?

1. No sprouts yet...they take 2-6 weeks to sprout and then like 3 years to get to full size! So it's a long commitment I just entered.

2. What's your new person's name you have on date for baptism? Tell us about him/her.
2. So their names are William and Viviana. They are both from Cuba/Dominican Republic. But they speak good English mostly.

3. Are there different missionaries assigned to the WSU campus? Do you get to do anything with Institute?
3. Yes so there are ysa sisters and also a set of elders that cover that side of Pullman so the do the work in that area. We mostly just email at the institute on pdays and that's about it.

Hey so this week was good. We had mlc on Tuesday and then exchanges with the assistants on Tuesday and Wednesday. One of them Elder Christensen is super awesome. He’s one of my friends out here and he's going to Weber State to play football one transfer before I go home.

The rest of the week was good I got to go to Chick Fil'A! For the first time in over 19 months! Crazy, right? It's the only one in the mission.

But this week we have zone conference in Lewiston and back to back exchanges with the district leaders in our zone so it will be busy like usual!

Well I appreciate your emails and your support. Sure love ya!!!

Monday April 2, 2018 Pullman, WA

1. Where did you watch Conference?
1. We watched it at the Institute on campus.

2. What did you think about the new announcements? How do you think they’ll affect the wards you serve in & you as a missionary?
2. You know I think they’re good and will bless the church but I don't think they are that big of a deal. Just little changes that will make things better.

3. We got a picture of you with a family tonight. Did you get to do any Easter stuff?
3. Yeah that was the Carter's. They are awesome. And yeah we did a scavenger hunt. It was fun.

4. Did you get our package?
4. Yeah! Thank you so much! You nailed it on the tie too! Thanks!

5. Did you have a favorite session or talk from Conference?
5. I loved President Eyring's talk about revelation and the talks about forgiveness.

This week was full of miracles. We were able to put another investigator on date for baptism! It's been super rewarding because the work has been slow and hard the past while. It was good to see that my efforts aren’t wasted. It's sometimes hard to write about the cool things that happen out here because they happen so often.

The Lord will provide for those who act in faith. We have to put our faith in him and take the first step sometimes before we see the blessings. But I can’t even tell you the countless times I’ve seen the blessings of our Father in Heaven when people act in faith. He just takes care of their needs.

I hope you all enjoyed Conference and built your testimony in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ! Love you all!

Those plants are bonsai trees we are officially the best gardeners in the mission.
(We found this to be hilarious because there are no plants yet growing in those pots!)

Dinner at the Carter's...in my new tie:)
